DRB Thunderfoot Art Glass

Our Girdwood Studio & Legacy

Nestled at the base of the Chugach Mountains in Girdwood, Alaska, our studio has been hand-crafting premium custom glass art since 2009. Our founder, Darby Andrews, is one of Alaska's pioneering glass blowers, with a legacy spanning over three decades of furnace work in the state.

Originally known as **DRB Thunderfoot Art Glass**, the studio was founded on a commitment to raw craftsmanship and a connection to the Alaskan wilderness. In 2025, Darby consolidated his focus onto cremation ash memorials, establishing **Cremains Crystals** to offer families a comforting, light-filled tribute.

Every memorial piece is blown and sculpted individually by Darby at the furnace. We maintain a local, transparent, and strictly secure tracking system, ensuring the ashes of your loved ones never leave our hands.
